Bertrandt AG

Proposal for profit appropriation for the fiscal year 2007/2008 

The Management Board and Supervisory Board of Bertrandt AG will propose to
the annual general meeting on 18 February 2009 the payment of a dividend of
EUR 1.40 per share (EUR 0.80 in the previous year). The balance sheet press
conference is scheduled for 4 December 2008. The invitation to the annual
general meeting will be published at the beginning of January 2009 in line
with the legal requirements.
