ASPO CONCLUDES SALE OF KAUKOMARKKINAT'S SOURCING SERVICES

Kauko-Telko Oy, a part of the Aspo Group, is divesting the Sourcing
Services of its Kaukomarkkinat Unit to Nikolai Sourcing Ltd (former
Kaukopartio Oy). The deal will result in a non-recurring gain of
approximately one million euros, which will be recorded. The change
of ownership is effective from today, 1 December 2008.

Gustav Nyberg, CEO of Aspo: "The sale of Sourcing Services is a part
of the structural reorganization of Aspo and will clarify the new
structure of the Aspo Group. In the future, we will continue to focus
on our core businesses. Nikolai Sourcing Ltd has acquired specialized
knowledge in Far Eastern operations, and industrial sourcing services
are their core competence."

The divested Sourcing Services Unit includes the operations in China
(Shanghai and Beijing), as well as a subsidiary in Hong Kong. The
unit's clients are mainly in the field of specialist convenience
goods, as well as in the textile, shoe and furniture businesses.
