Lysaker, 3 December 2008 Nord Pool has received the following information from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE): Higher Norwegian export The Norwegian net export increased by 153 GWh from week 47 to 48. It was higher Norwegian net export to The Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden. Higher prices in the Netherlands than the week before contributed to the increase in the Norwegiann export to the Netherlands. Colder weather and little wind power production in Germany contributed to higher German import from Denmark, and Denmark imported more electricity from Southern-Norway. It was more transmission capacity available from Southern-Norway to Sweden in week 48.
