EFORE PLC Press release December 10, 2008 at 3.00 p.m. EFORE OPENS NEW-TECHNOLOGY R&D UNIT AND LABORATORY AT HELSINKI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY A new-technology research and development laboratory of Efore Plc was opened today by Jorma Kyyrä, the Dean of the Faculty of Electronics, Communications and Automation at Helsinki University of Technology (TKK), and Reijo Mäihäniemi, Efore's President and CEO. The laboratory is situated on the university's premises at Otaniemi in Espoo, where Efore will be doing research on alternative energy sources and carrying out various R&D projects aimed at improving energy efficiency. Naps Systems Oy and Cypress Wind Turbines Oy, which supply solar panels and wind turbines, are Efore's partners in the alternative energy projects.
