LAS VEGAS, Dec. 10, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- EnerBrite Technologies Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets:ETGG) announces the December 8, 2008 closing of an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares of Rebel Oil Company. The Company's core business will move from the energy management business to the energy production business. Pursuant to the Revised and Restated Acquisition Agreement and Plan of Share Exchange, the Company owns 100% of an operating, producing oil field located in Johnson County, Kentucky.
During the next 12 months, Rebel will repair and rework existing wells on the property for the purpose of increasing current production. In addition, Rebel intends to implement exploratory programs to drill for natural gas and additional oil.
Jack L. Stapleton will serve as the Company's newly elected President and will oversee all operations of Rebel.
