Ticketmaster Hosts Members of the National Youth League of China

Delegation Treated to Clippers-Magic Match-Up At Staples Center in Los Angeles


WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Dec. 9, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --

  • Ticketmaster played host to a 17-member delegation of the National Youth League of China yesterday. The company hosted the group at Ticketmaster's headquarters on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, as well as at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
  • The Chinese delegation, lead by Mr. Li Erliang, publisher, chief editor and senior editor of China Profiles, met with Ticketmaster Entertainment Inc.'s president, Sean Moriarty, as well as Ticketmaster's co-founder, Albert Leffler.
  • While at Ticketmaster the group received an overview of the entertainment, sports, and events markets across the United States and around the world.
  • Later, the delegation enjoyed the basketball game at Staples Center, even as the Clippers fell to the Magic by a score of 95-88. Ticketmaster is the exclusive ticketing service provider for the Staples Center, as well as other iconic Southern California venues.
