BELLEVUE, Wash., Dec. 16, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Sector 10, Inc. (OTCBB:SECT) (Frankfurt:4SR) announced today that 3rd quarter sales are expected to increase 400% over the 2nd quarter. The substantial increase will continue to improve the positive performance trends developed over the past three 3 months.
The Company, still in the developmental stage, recently agreed with a College located in Ogden, Utah to provide pre-deployed emergency equipment and supplies to the administration and student buildings on two of its campuses. A number of additional proposals are currently under consideration with other customers. The Company is currently seeking funding to expand the sales force and increase production capacity.
At the College, Sector 10 is placing two SRU-M stationary response units installed with custom designed medical, life-saving equipment, which would normally have to be brought to the location by first response units (e.g. police. fire trucks, ambulances, etc). The amount of time saved by pre-deploying the stationary response units could easily mean the difference between life or death.
In addition to containing life support equipment such as gas masks, oxygen, iodine tablets, and other emergency medical supplies, the units also have the ability to transform into evacuation chairs. Equally important as the medical supplies, the units provide a patented means of telecommunication between the first responders and the college staff.
The SRU-M unit actually pays for itself through a 42" high definition screen, which projects targeted advertisements to the intended audience. The high definition screen could also be used for corporate branding, AMBER Alerts, public service announcements, venue directory services, and real-time evacuation instructions.
