LOS ANGELES, Dec. 16, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank, California's Premier Private and Business Bank(r), has appointed Jodi Huston as senior vice president and manager of the Core Banking Division's Westside region.

She is responsible for client service and retention, business development and branch operations at 11 City National banking offices located in Century City, West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Long Beach and the South Bay.
Huston most recently served as executive vice president and regional manager responsible for Citibank's Southern California region. She reports to Kevin Dunigan, executive vice president and head of the Core Banking Division.

During her 12-year career at Citibank, Huston also served as senior vice president and manager in charge of the Los Angeles Metro and San Gabriel areas; Southern California area sales director; and branch cluster manager. Before that, she held a variety of branch management positions with the former First Interstate Bank.
A resident of Long Beach, she earned a bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Active in the community, Huston serves on the boards of directors of the Speech and Language Development Center in Buena Park, Calif. and Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services in Pasadena, Calif. She is a former board member of the Los Angeles Commission on Assaults Against Women.
