On December 17, 2008 , Templeton Global Advisors Limited, Nassau, Bahamas
has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via
shares its Voting Rights on Infineon Technologies AG, Neubiberg,
Deutschland, ISIN: DE0006231004, WKN: 623100, have fallen below the 3%
limit of the Voting Rights on December 15, 2008  and now amount to 2.86%
(this corresponds to 21412923 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 2.86% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 21412923 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
