Information on the Press Release issued by the Ministry of the Economy regarding the tariffs

The Ministry of Economy has informed about the request made to LEO LT, AB to
authorize the public limited liability companies Lietuvos energija, VST and
Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai to revise the tariffs of electricity transmission,
distribution services as well as the public electricity tariffs, which had been
previously approved by the Boards of the mentioned companies, and to submit
them to the National Control Commission for Prices and Energy for validation.
In making tariff adjustments for the year 2009, the Ministry of Economy has
proposed to maintain the same prices of electricity transport (transmission and
distribution) as they had been set for the year 2008.
