SUOMEN TERVEYSTALO OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE December 18, 2008 at 01.15 p.m. DECISIONS OF SUOMEN TERVEYSTALO OYJ'S EXTRAORDINARY GENERAL MEETING The Extraordinary General Meeting of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj was held on 18 December, 2008 in Helsinki. Based on the Board of Directors proposal the Extraordinary General Meeting made a decision that the Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s Company Act paragraph 1 will be changed so that the name of the company will be changed to Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj. After the change paragraph 1 of the Company Act will be: 1§ Company name and registered office / The Company's business name is Terveystalo Healthcare Oyj. The company's registered office is Helsinki. The new company name is planned to be taken into use in the beginning of 2009. Terveystalo Group will continue to use Terveystalo as its marketing name. Terveystalo Group has started the centralization of its group structure and the mergers of its over 100 subsidiaries in 2006. As of the beginning of 2009, Terveystalo will centralize its clinics, occupational healthcare, diagnostics and hospital business mainly into one subsidiary. The present name of this subsidiary Suomen Terveystalo Diagnostiikka Oy is planned to be changed to Suomen Terveystalo Oy.
