Equities: Information regarding trading halt in SWED BTA PR 2 (300/08)

On behalf of the issuer, please find enclosed supplementary information regarding trading in SWED BTA PR 2 (ISIN code SE0002687772).

In conjunction with the ongoing new issue in Swedbank AB, trading has previously taken place in the instrument SWED BTA PR 1. The last day for trading in that instrument was 18 December and it is no longer possible to trade it on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm.

On 19 December the instrument SWED BTA PR 2 was listed. Nasdaq OMX Stockholm has been informed by the issuer that no such instruments will be available for deliveries on 29 December, which is the ordinary settlement date for trades entered into on 19 December. In order to avoid executing trades that will not be possible to settle, trading in the instrument has been halted.

The trading will be resumed on December 30, 2008.
