ANNOUNCEMENT
NBG DELISTING
National Bank of Greece S.A. (NBG) announces that effective from Monday 29
December 2008 has requested the delisting from the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen
exchange.
The delisting decision consequences by the fact that NBG securities are not
traded 
although admitted to trading in the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen exchange.
Furthermore it should be stated that National Bank of Greece is currently
listed at 
Athens Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange.
At last NBG would like to stress the fact that the requested delisting of NBG
from the 
NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen exchange will not result to any detriment to the interests
of stockholders neither to the market functions due to the fact that there are
no 
shares of NBG traded in the NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen exchange.
