CANYON LAKE, Texas, Dec. 19, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- COPsync, Inc. (OTCBB:COYN), a software technology provider to law enforcement and emergency service professionals, announced that 119 Texas Law Enforcement agencies have committed to implement the COPsync(tm) technology in 2008.
COPsync(tm), the flagship product of COPsync, Inc., has been in development since 2004, and was launched in August of this year after successful beta testing. COPsync(tm) is the first and only integrated software interface that allows all law enforcement officers on the system to share data captured by multiple agencies in real-time using a centralized database. The system not only offers an efficient data management platform, but offers real-time intelligence that can save lives.
The 119 Law Enforcement agencies under commitment are in various stages of implementing the technology.
