PIMCO High Income Fund Declares Common Share Dividend


NEW YORK, Dec. 19, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PIMCO High Income Fund (NYSE:PHK) (the "Fund") announced today that it has declared a dividend of $0.24375 per common share, which consists of the monthly dividend amounts that were scheduled to have been declared in November and December, but were previously postponed.

The dividend will be payable on January 2, 2009 to shareholders of record on December 29, 2008, with an ex-dividend date of December 24, 2008.

The Fund's primary investment objective is to seek high current income. Capital appreciation is a secondary objective. There can be no assurance that the Fund will achieve its stated objectives.
