Drillisch AG MSP Holding GmbH transfers 10,798,817 shares in freenet AG
to United Internet AG and reduces financial liabilities

Maintal, 29 December 2008  The mobile-communications service provider
Drillisch (ISIN DE 0005545503) and United Internet AG today entered into a
supplemental agreement relating to MSP Holding GmbH in which each of them
owns a share of 50 % and which up to date owns 23,550,000 shares (equal to
18.39 % of the voting rights) in freenet AG, Büdelsdorf. United Internet AG
acquires 10,798,817 shares (equal to 8.43 % of the voting rights) in
freenet AG from MSP Holding GmbH. The proceeds are used for a reduction of
the financial liabilities of MSP Holding GmbH. After this share transfer,
MSP Holding will continue to own 12,751,183 shares (equal to 9.96 % of the
voting rights) in freenet AG. Drillisch AG continues to hold 7.52 % of the
voting rights in freenet AG. 

Due to the pooling of voting rights agreed between Drillisch AG and United
Internet AG, the total percentage of voting rights held by Drillisch AG in
freenet AG does not change and remains at 25.91 %.
