Texas Police Use TASER On Burglar Suspect

According to an article in the December 26, 2008 edition of the Tyler Morning Telegraph entitled, "Police Use TASER on Armed Burglary Suspect," Longview officers used a TASER(r) ECD to subdue a 42-year-old man who was fleeing from a shattered business window carrying multiple items, including a loaded .38 caliber handgun.

According to the article, Kevin Brownlee said, "If the officers had seen it was a handgun in his hand, then we would be dealing with entirely different situation this morning." He continued to say that he was, "glad no one was hurt, including the suspect."
