FLSmidth receives drying and milling plant order in India


Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority
No. 49-2008, 30 December 2008

Tata Steel, the 6th largest steel producer in the world is setting up
a 6 million tonnes per year Iron ore pellet plant at their existing
plant complex in Jamshedpur, India. FLSmidth Minerals has signed
contracts worth approximately USD 48m (DKK 250m) with Tata Steel for
the supply of a drying and grinding plant for the pelletizing plant.

The scope of work involves basic design by FLSmidth Minerals, USA and
Denmark, and  among other  things  detailed engineering  and  design,
manufacturing, supply and  supervision of two  Rotary Dryers, 2  Ball
mills with  2x6000 Kw  drive, 2  separators from  FLSmidth  Minerals,
India and 4 bag houses from FLSmidth Airtech."FLSmidth continues to receive large orders and this plant is one of
the largest dry iron ore grinding systems being supplied by FLSmidth.
The order includes technology and products from various FLSmidth
group companies, reinforcing FLSmidth Minerals approach of being "One
Source One Partner" to its clients," Group CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen
comments.

The contract will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings
until 2010.
