Tocqueville Finance SA, Paris, France, has notified us pursuant to sec. 21
para. 1 WpHG that its percentage of voting rights in WashTec AG, Augsburg,
Germany, ISIN: DE0007507501, WKN: 750750, fell below the threshold of 3% on
December 18, 2008 and amounts to 2.84% (431,711 voting rights) as per this
day.

Of these voting rights, 2.84% (431,711 voting rights) are to be attributed
to Tocqueville Finance SA pursuant to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.
