Release of a Voting Rights announcement

In a letter dated December 19, 2008, received December 29, 2008, Henderson
Global Investors, London, U.K. has informed us according to Article 41,
Section 2 of the WpHG that  its Voting Rights on UMS United Medical Systems
International AG, Hamburg, Deutschland, ISIN: DE0005493654, WKN: 549365,   
on April 1, 2002 amounted to 5.38% (this corresponded to 312,110 of a total
of 5,800,00 Voting Rights).

5.38% of the voting rights (equivalent to 312,110 Voting Rights) were
attributable in accordance with Article 22 section 1 sent. 1 no. 6 of the
WpHG.
