The Attack of the Wolves of the Revenue -- An Intriguing Tale of IRS Taxpayer Abuse

ESCONDIDO, Calif., Jan. 7, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Tax plays a big role in the government. According to author Pete Johnson, it leads officials to be corrupt. It makes citizens dishonest. It dictates a country's movement and actions. In Pete Johnson's riveting and intriguing novel, you'll witness how the Wolves of the Revenue stop at nothing to get what they want. But how far will a taxpayer condone the wolves' acts -- until he fights back? Let this suspenseful story show you a tough conflict between an Intransigent Taxpayer and the IRS.

Follow Special Agents William Warmblood and Barney "The Taxcatcher" Flowers as they bedevil Andrew Clauson with audits, assessments, moles, litigation, subpoenas, and seizure of his home and factory. He was the bane of the Service that led to the IRS actions and moves for reform. But his resistance to the relentless and vindictive IRS prosecution cost him his family, his business, and ultimately, his life. How long will he take it all before he retaliates?

As the IRS tries to impoverish Clauson -- by destroying his marriage, separating him from his children, and ruining his company -- he finally strikes back by capitalizing on Agent Warmblood's blunder. Clauson has penetrated the IRS's most sensitive files. Using the Service's own resources, he publicly disseminates and exposes these confidential files, causing an instantaneous uproar by the public. This leads to a national tax revolt. How will Warmblood and Flowers control this chaos?
