Component Changes Made to Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend Indexes


ZURICH, Switzerland, Jan. 8, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- STOXX Ltd., the leading provider of European equity indexes, today announced component changes in the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 indexes.

Persimmon PLC (United Kingdom, Personal & Household Goods, PSN.LN) will be deleted from the Dow Jones STOXX Select Dividend 30 and Dow Jones STOXX Global Select Dividend 100 indexes and replaced by Renault (France, Automobiles & Parts, 13190.FR). Persimmon PLC is being removed due to the cancellation of its dividend payment.

All changes will be effective before the opening of trading on Tuesday, January 13, 2009.
