DENTON, Texas, Jan. 13, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- American Alternative Energy Systems Corporation (OTCBB:AATV) (Frankfurt:AFP) company president Jeffrey Kulman announced today that the company will change its business name to American Great Lakes Corporation. The decision was made after the recent amalgamation with Great Lakes Biogas Technologies Inc. The new name identifies the two companies and their synergies. Shareholders are not required to surrender their share certificates. The old company name and cusip will be recognized under the new American Great Lakes Corporation name and cusip number. The corporation will maintain its focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions and making a more sustainable environment through renewable energy.
