Anoto Digital Pen technology helps bring PolyVision® next-generation interactive whiteboard to life London, 16th January 2009 - Anoto, the inventor of Digital Pen and Paper technology (DP&P), is providing the technology behind PolyVision's new ēno™ interactive whiteboard. Launched at the BETT education show in London this week, ēno combines the simplicity of a traditional whiteboard surface with interactive functionality - without cables or costly installation. The Anoto Bluetooth-enabled digital pen, an eno interactive whiteboard and a simple projector allow teachers to transition from ink to internet, from markers to multimedia in an instant without a need for wired connections to power or data. Anoto technology uses a patent-protected dot pattern that is integrated into PolyVision's best-selling, longest-lasting e3 environmental ceramicsteel™ surface to create the ēno board. The pattern, which is nearly invisible to the naked eye, can be read by a digital pen, which records and interprets hand-written strokes. Written data can be stored and uploaded for effortless memory capture. This is the first product launched by Anoto and PolyVision following the announcement of their partnership back in April 2008.
