itelligence AG publishes preliminary figures for fiscal year 2008

Revenues increase 13.1% to MEUR 216, outperforming expectations
EBIT climbs 18.3% to MEUR 13.6
EBIT margin improves to 6.3%

Bielefeld, January 16, 2009 – With the publication of its preliminary
figures for 2008, itelligence AG looks back onto its most successful year
ever. With revenues of MEUR 216 (previous year: MEUR 190.9), itelligence AG
exceeded its forecast range of between MEUR 210 and MEUR 214, with a
year-on-year improvement of 13.1%. In the fourth quarter of 2008, revenues
amounted to MEUR 61.9 after MEUR 54.9 in the equivalent quarter of the
previous year. itelligence thus generated a year-on-year improvement of
12.8% in the period.

Alongside the increase in revenues, itelligence also achieved improvements
in earnings figures. In fiscal year 2008, EBIT climbed by 18.3% to MEUR
13.6, up from MEUR 11.5 in the previous year. As scheduled, this resulted
in the EBIT margin improving from 6.0% in the previous year to 6.3% in
2008, within the forecast range. In the fourth quarter, an EBIT
contribution of MEUR 3.9 was generated (prior-year figure: MEUR 3.7). In
the fourth quarter, the EBIT margin was 6.3% (previous year: 6.7%).

itelligence AG thus reached or exceeded all forecasts made for the past
fiscal year.
