Agape Love: a Divine Directive -- Chemist-Physicist Fathoms the Heart of Christ's Greatest Commandment

CANTONMENT, Fla., Jan. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Man's search for the meaning of life starts and ends with agape love. This is what David A. Zaukelies asserts as he fathoms the ultimate commandment of loving one another as instructed by Christ. In his book, Lord, What Would You Have Me To Do In My Life?, Zaukelies discusses how the Ten Commandments, Scripture, and the purpose of man's existence basically sum up to one divine directive.

Zaukelies inevitably explores the expanse of agape love as he attempts to uncover the true path to man's salvation. His discussion on the Ten Commandments and their connection to sin has brought out many seemingly contradictory Biblical passages, the most prominent argument being that of whether salvation is attained through God's grace or through man's obedience.

The discussion on commandments eventually leads to Christ's summation of the commandments into one great commandment, which launches Zaukelies' detailed examination of agape love, including its characteristics, what it is and what it is not, and the numerous references to it in the Bible. The book quotes exclusively from the New Testament of the King James Version, although still providing Old Testament references. Meanwhile, Zaukelies includes a scientific addendum incorporating his own calculations that proves God is the only force that could have created life on earth.

Succinct and straight to the point, Lord, What Would You Have Me To Do In My Life? illumines on one of life's most difficult questions; at the same time, it affirms that the Old and New Testaments are complementary halves of the Bible that teach the same principles, which is to do God's will expressed as his commandments. And, as can be inferred from Zaukelies' contention, the simplest way of doing so would be to demonstrate Godly love towards others and oneself. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
