Friendship Despite Differences -- A Picture Book Narrating How a Frog and a Mosquito Can be Good Friends

EGAN, La., Jan. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Friendship surpasses differences; despite the color, race, or who the other person is, if you accept him or her as a friend, nothing else really matters. In this colorfully illustrated fable, Pierre the Cajun Frog, author Abbie Gail Gauthier shares the value and importance of friendship, trust, and loyalty. Follow Pierre the Cajun Frog and George the mosquito in this story that speaks of how being unique can never hinder great friendships and relationships.

Pierre feels left out because he does not look or sound like any of his siblings. As he hops around the swamp, he meets George and finds a companion in him. Though Pierre is a frog and George is a mosquito, their differences never stopped them from befriending each other. Pierre vows not to follow the general tendency of his kind to eat mosquitoes. From that moment on, the pair formed a special bond and enjoyed playing together. Each day, they meet and interact with some of the other swamp creatures and find themselves contented in each other's company.

Accompany Pierre and George as they roam the bayou in this wonderful and charming picture book. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
