Read Me! -- A Charming Story About the Adventures of a Tiny Red Book

MORGANTON, N.C., Jan. 15, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- When you go to bookstores or libraries, you seldom notice small books, especially if they're old and the pages are already torn apart. But what if these books were living things like humans and animals? Follow a cute whimsical tale of a little red book by Ingrid Longo, The Tiny Book.

The Tiny Book is a multi-colored hand-drawn children's book about the funny adventures of a red book. She first comes to a store in a big box, together with other big and thick books. Soon after, several kids with their mothers come to the store to check out the books. The children pick books from the different shelves, but no one seems to notice the little red book.

She shoves herself so she will fall on the floor and tries to jump into the pile of books carried by a young girl, but she always ends up being returned to her old shelf, without being read. The time comes when she, along with other unsold books, is donated to a library. The tiny book becomes excited because finally someone can grab and read her without having to pay. Unfortunately, like what happened to her in the book store, she still suffers the same fate.

When newer batches of books are donated to the library, some worn-out reads are kept in a box to be disposed. The librarian places the box near the library door and puts the books on sale again. Thinking this could be her last chance, the tiny book tries hard to be noticed. Will she finally be read? For more information on The Tiny Book, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
