About the Author

L.H. Mitchell was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and attended schools in California. After serving in the Navy for six years during the Korean War, he received an Honorable Discharge. He attended college at Monterey Peninsula College and the University of California, and majored in English Literature. After college he worked as a commercial/industrial photographer, then made the change to journalism in his forties and wrote numerous articles and a few contract books.
