William Blair & Company, LLC, Chicago, Illinois, USA has informed us,
according to article 21, paragraph 1 WpHG (German Securities Trading Act),
that via shares its voting rights in Wirecard AG, Grasbrunn/Munich, Germany
have fallen below the threshold of 5 % on 20th January 2009 and amounted to
3.54 % (3,605,086 voting rights)as per this date. These 3.54 % (3,605,086
voting rights) were attributable to William Blair & Company, LLC according
to section 22, paragraph 1, sentence 1 number 6 WpHG.
