Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On January 23, 2009 , Akelius University Foundation, Nassau, Bahamas has
informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that via shares
its Voting Rights on Deutsche Wohnen AG, Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland,
ISIN: DE000A0HN5C6, WKN: A0HN5C, have exceeded the 5% limit of the Voting
Rights on January 21, 2009  and now amount to 5.09% (this corresponds to
1344265 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 1 of the WpHG, 5.09% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1344265 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company  from Akelius Apartments Ltd.
