Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On January 27, 2009 pursuant to section 21 (1) WpHG we were notified by
Capital Research and Management Company, Los Angeles, California, USA that
the stake of Capital Research and Management Company in the voting rights
in BayWa AG, Munich, Germany fell below the threshold of 3 % on January 23,
2009. On that date, Capital Research and Management Company held 2.98 %
(1,013,176 ordinary shares (Stammaktien)) in relation to all voting rights
in BayWa AG. BayWa AG has issued ordinary shares only. 2.98 % (1,013,176
ordinary shares) of all voting rights in BayWa AG were attributed to
Capital Research and Management Company pursuant to section 22 (1) sent. 1
no. 6 WpHG.
