Considering the published information on the activities of AB Lietuvos Dujos we inform that: • In 2009, AB Lietuvos Dujos Group plans to invest about LTL 250 mln; • Information presented by BNS on the company's investment in 2008 is incorrect. In 2008, according to the preliminary unaudited data investment of the AB Lietuvos Dujos Group amounted LTL 128.3 mln. • Information on the threat of fines amounting millions Litas to be applied to the company for not taking the contracted natural gas volumes was misinterpreted by the BNS journalists. Actually, there was a threat of fines amounting millions of Litas, but we succeeded to put the gas quantities ordered but not taken by the customers in the underground gas storage facility in Latvia. Addition costs incurred by the company in relation with this transaction will be claimed from the respective customers. These amounts will be much smaller than the fines that were impending though.
