FINNAIR PILOTS' STRIKE POSTPONED

The strike scheduled by Finnair pilots has been postponed by two weeks. The
series of one-day strikes, as threatened by the Finnish Airline Pilots'
Association, was to have begun on 11 February.

The strike threat is now scheduled for a period two weeks later. The possible
strike days are 25.2., 27.2., 2.3., 4.3. and 6.3. The Finnish Airline Pilots'
Association (SLL) representing Finnair pilots initiated industrial action last
Saturday. The current industrial action is evident in the pilots' organised
refusal to work if a work shift has not been marked on a shift list. A
consequence of this is that some Finnair flights may not fly.
