Derivatives: Icelandic stock options and futures – change in product offering (03/09)

NASDAQ OMX has decided that it will discontinue offering trading and clearing in Icelandic equity and equity index derivatives. The market has been temporarily closed since October 9th, 2008.

Existing positions remain and will be settled when possible following instructions by the exchange. As announced in Exchange Notice 02/09 dated January 12, 2009, expiration of options and futures on Kaupthing, Glitnir and Landsbanki listed in Icelandic Krona (ISK) has been postponed to February 20, 2009. The Exchange will postpone expiration further if necessary. Expiration of existing TM series on shares which are still listed and traded will be performed as planned.
