MILWAUKEE, Wis., Feb. 3, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The U-Haul Company of Eastern Wisconsin today announced the promotion of Michael Schneider to president. Schneider brings 15 years of U-Haul experience to his new position, where he will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, including truck, trailer and storage rentals.

Schneider began his U-Haul career in August 1993 as a manager trainee for U-Haul of Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. In May 1994, Schneider was promoted to general manager (GM) of U-Haul Center Kenosha then to GM of U-Haul Center Appleton in Milwaukee. In January 1995, he transferred to the U-Haul Company of Eastern Wisconsin and held the positions of staff member, senior staff member and traffic control manager (TCM). Following that, he was promoted to marketing company president (MCP) for U-Haul Company of Western Wisconsin, in Madison. With this latest promotion, MCP Schneider will oversee operations for U-Haul Company of Eastern Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
