Lysaker, 4 February 2009 Nord Pool has received the following information from the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE): Fall in reservoir level and little precipitation The reservoir level in the Norwegian reservoirs fell during week 5. At the end of the week the reservoir level was 54.9 percentages, which is below the week's median level and below the level measured at the same time last year. The reservoir level fell in both the Norwegian areas, NO1 and NO2. There was little precipitation in week 5. Conversed to precipitation energy just 8 percentages of the normal level. So far in 2009, precipitation energy totals 13 TWh, almost 3 TWh less than normal this time of year.
