Sterling Commerce Re-Commits to Columbus, Ohio

Leading Software Company Renews 10-Year Lease and Gains Infrastructure Enhancements; Sponsors TechColumbus Innovation Awards


COLUMBUS, OH--(Marketwire - February 4, 2009) - Sterling Commerce, an AT&T Inc (NYSE: T) company, today announced it has extended its lease for its Columbus, Ohio headquarters for 10 years. The company has been headquartered in the Columbus area for more than two decades and employs 757 people at the facility. Key factors in renewing the lease were that the location met the company's current and future needs and offered a high quality of life, including opportunities for community involvement.

The company also highlighted its commitment to the region through its platinum sponsorship of the TechColumbus Innovation Awards, to be awarded on Thursday, February 5. The awards recognize outstanding achievements in technology and innovation in central Ohio.
