Eimskip will discontinue its operations of Dutch cold store company Daalimpex. Negotiations for the company's sale were in the final phase when certain problems arose and negotiations to sell Dalimpex have been discontinued. This means that Dalimpex will go into administration, asEimskip is no longer prepared tot support Daalipex financially. These arrangements will not affect customers of the core Eimskip business, as the company will continue to offer a full range ofservices through its Dutch partners. The financial effects on Eimskip are minimal, as the Groupy had fully written off Daalimpex's operations in the fourth quarter of the 2008 financial year.
