PHILADELPHIA, Feb. 10, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Prudential Bancorp, Inc. of Pennsylvania (Nasdaq:PBIP) (the "Company"), the "mid-tier" holding company for Prudential Savings Bank, today announced results of the voting on the two proposals presented to shareholders at its annual meeting of shareholders held on February 9, 2009. The results show that Prudential Bancorp's shareholders re-elected Thomas A. Vento to the Board of Directors for a three-year term. Shareholders also ratified the appointment of Deloitte & Touche LLP as Prudential Bancorp's independent registered public accounting firm for the fiscal year ended September 30, 2009.
