Concerning the article published by LETA about possible decrease of quantity of employees scheduled for dismissal, from 600 to 400 people, the administration of the enterprise can state the following: At the moment the management of AS “Daugavpils Lokomotīvju Remonta Rūpnīca” is negotiating with several potential clients of the enterprise for 2009, including the Russian company Baltranservis. As of today the contract with the mentioned company is not signed and cannot ensure the enterprise additional amount of work.
