'Green' electricity for 560 households

Landau, February 19, 2009 - Michelin, manufacturer of tires, and the PV
system integrator COLEXON Energy connect a solar power plant with a
performance of 1.9 MWp to the grid: In Landau, Rhineland-Palatinate on the
rooftops of the tire storage of the Michelin group, the solar power plant,
yet existing since 2004, was completed and provides now approximately an
additional 560 households with environmentally friendly electricity. In
this project the Michelin Group acts as lessor of the roof areas and
therewith emphasizes its environmental commitment. Investor and operator of
the solar power plant is the Danish Renewagy A/S. The order volume of this
project amounts to approximately EUR 7.4 million.

Under the supervision of COLEXON about 10,000 Yunnan Tianda and Moser Baer
crystalline modules as well as more than 4,500 First Solar thin film
modules have been installed on a 46,500 sqm large rooftop area. Aluminium
trays were used as sub-construction. In order to reduce the load on the
rooftop, the trays were fixed to the corrugated sheet metal surfaces of the
roof. This innovative anchoring system allows COLEXON able to realize
photovoltaic power plants on rooftops only capable of taking light loads.
With the commissioning nine inverters are producing annually a total of
1.87 million kilowatt hours (kWh) of clean electricity, this accounts for
saving of 1,650 tons of CO2 emissions per year.

'The Michelin-project is an important reference project for us with whom we
again were able to demonstrate and expand our project competence in the
rooftop area', so Thorsten Preugschas, CEO of COLEXON Energy AG.
