AESP Announces the Formation of a 'Great Lakes' Local Chapter


DETROIT, Feb. 19, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP) is pleased to announce the formation of its Great Lakes local chapter, which will provide professional development and education to energy services professionals in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

AESP members work in the energy services industry and represent electric and natural gas utilities, public benefits associations, regulatory and non-profit entities, vendors, manufacturers and consulting firms, and the association is committed to the education and professional development of professionals working in the energy efficiency arena.

The Great Lakes chapter joins local chapters serving California, Portland, Oregon, Wisconsin and the Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, National Capital, Northeast, Rocky Mountains, and Southeast regions of the U.S.

The new chapter will look to aggressively promote knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainable energy programs and options for both its professional members, as well as the general public in the Great Lakes region.
