Option release: Possible adjustment of OMXH25 index due to dividend in Rautaruukki (08/09)

The following information is based on a press release from Rautaruukki Corporation (RTRKS, FI0009003552) dated February 5, 2009 and may be subject to change. The board of Rautaruukki has proposed that the Annual General Meeting (AGM), which will be held March 24, 2009, approves an ordinary dividend of EUR 1.35. The scheduled Ex-day is March 25, 2009. Provided that the AGM approves the proposal and the dividend exceeds 10 percent of the last paid price for Rautaruukki the day before the Ex-day, the OMXH25 index will be adjusted for the part of the dividend exceeding 10 percent. The adjustment is made according to rule 8.8 in the “Index description of OMXH25 Stock Index”.
