On February 23, 2009 , Generation Investment Management LLP, London, United
Kingdom has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that
via shares its Voting Rights on SMA Solar Technology AG, Niestetal,
Deutschland, ISIN: DE000A0DJ6J9, WKN: A0DJ6J , have exceeded the 3% limit
of the Voting Rights on February 17, 2009 and now amount to 3.31% (this
corresponds to 1149601 Voting Rights).
According to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG, 3.31% of
the Voting Rights (this corresponds to 1149601 Voting Rights) is to be
attributed to the company.
