Decision by the former Supervisory Board on sale of tonnage

In continuation of stock exchange release no. 49 of 18 February 2009 by Nordic
Tankers A/S, we hereby announce that it has been finally determined that the
sale of the two chemical tankers will not be completed either. Consequently, it
is a fact that the tonnage described in stock exchange release no. 44 of 2
February 2009 will not be sold.
