The Winds of Change are Always Blowing -- A Captivating Tale About Love and Family, Based On True Events During the Hungarian Communist Revolution

TWINSBURG, Ohio, March 2, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The 1956 revolution for the Hungarian people and neighboring countries brought about decades of communist rule. Many who were there fought and died for freedom. But after two decades, the chaos had brought renewed hope and a new beginning to the country. Author Diane R. Fejes tells the poignant tale of a family's struggle in the midst of the revolution and how love, in the end, conquers all.

The story of Katherine's Jewels begins in Veszprem, Hungary, with the Liszt family-local aristocrats who are preparing to entertain a large group of friends and high ranking Russian officials in honor of Saint Stephen's Crown. When tragedy strikes, last minute decisions are made which change the lives of the countess, Katherine Liszt, and her young grandson, John, forever. After escaping Hungary at the onset of the revolution, Katherine and John make their way to Cleveland, Ohio, in the United States.

Once again, though, unforeseen tragedy strikes soon after their arrival. Young John is forced to leave the home and friends he has come to love, only to be faced with starting his life in America all over again. Witness the riveting tale of love, family, and country in this endearing epic novel based on the true events of Hungary's communist era. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.

About the Author

Diane Rose Fejes was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. She began writing at the age of eight or nine and especially loved reading and writing poetry. Her first book, "Katherine's Jewels," is based on an incident that happened when she was a little girl, over fifty years ago. She encourages all young children to love their parents with all their hearts and to never give up their dreams, enjoy their youthful years for as long as they can and to remember that once their childhood is gone, they can never go home again.
