Trading under surveillance for AS “Latvijas Zoovetapgāde” imposed on September 1, 2008 cancelled, but a new Surveillance status assigned to the company.


NASDAQ OMX Riga Management Board resolved on its meeting of March 4, 2009 to
cancel the trading under Surveillance for AS “Latvijas Zoovetapgāde” from March
5, 2009. The Surveillance status was assigned to the company on September 1,
2008. But at the same time NASDAQ OMX Riga Management Board resolved on its
meeting of March 4, 2009 to impose a new Surveillance status to the company, as
it has breached the Stock Exchange rules saying that the information should to
be disclosed on a regular basis in due time and manner. 

On 27 February, 2009 at 16:51 AS „Latvijas Zoovetapgāde” published on the
NASDAQ OMX Riga information distribution system company's financial report of
12 months for the year 2008 and at 16:47 company's financial report of 6 months
for the year 2008. Company published both reports only in Latvian, breaching
Stock Exchange rules which say, that issuers which have their legal address
registered in Latvia shall prepare and submit to the Exchange all their
notifications in Latvian and English. 

Surveillance status was assigned to the company on September 1, 2008, as the
company failed to submit its financial report for 6 month till the September 1,
2008 9:30  a.m. 

As the company has submitted it's financial report for 6 months, the
circumstances that were the reason for trading AS “Latvijas Zoovetapgāde” under
surveillance since September 1, 2008  have ceased to exist. But as there is a
new circumstance due to which surveillance status can be assigned, the company
is still going to be traded under surveillance.
