CHATHAM, N.J., March 5, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Garibaldi Group/CORFAC International team of Peter D. Blanchard, Principal, and Toby Nelson, Vice President, acted as broker for both the buyer and seller in the sale of 355 Madison Avenue in Morristown.
The property, also known as The Abbey, encompasses 18,000 square feet of prime real estate on two floors set on almost four acres of property. The building was built in 1904 and originally named the Alnwick Hall. The Abbey is a brick manor house modeled after 15th and 16th century English prototypes. The seller was St. Marks Associates. The buyer, NYC Skyline Realty, LLC, will be occupying the building.
In addition, the team of Blanchard and Nelson completed the sale of an office property located at 40 West Ridgewood Avenue, Ridgewood, for the law firm of McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter.
"The building is beautiful, and situated directly across from the Ridgewood train station," said Blanchard. "Its downtown location makes it convenient to both restaurants and shopping."
Accordia Realty Ventures purchased the 9,000 square foot building, which was originally constructed as a church in the 1920s and converted to office space in the 1990s.
