IT – NASDAQ OMX Nordic Network to be provided by Verizon Business (19/09)

NASDAQ OMX has recently entered into an agreement with Verizon Business to provide improved connectivity for our exchange clients. Starting immediately Verizon Business will build and support a new, enhanced customer access network for clients who connect to NASDAQ OMX Nordic systems, referred to as The Verizon Financial Network (VFN). Verizon Business will also take responsibility for maintenance and support of the existing NASDAQ OMX access network, One Access, by migrating the One Access to the new VFN architecture. VFN will enable NASDAQ OMX and its customers to take advantage of a new, low-latency network with enhanced capacity, and new features such as multicast services as we migrate to the new INET trading platform.

To continue receiving the support you currently have, NASDAQ OMX customers should enter into a service agreement directly with Verizon Business. You, as a member or vendor, can decide whether you wish to upgrade to a new service or maintain your current technical setup when entering into the agreement with Verizon Business.

Within 2-3 weeks you will receive a transfer agreement form. The agreement will provide you with direct access to Verizon Business support, billing and other customer service options. Customers who sign the agreement will get a technical access (port) fee holiday for the remainder of 2009.

NASDAQ OMX will continue to support each customer directly during the transition period. We expect a seamless transition with no interruption of service.

Below is an outline of the transition period:

1.	NASDAQ OMX and Verizon Business will contact each customer to present terms and conditions.
2.	Customer can choose to upgrade to an enhanced VFN or maintain their current technical setup.
3.	Customer signs the agreement with Verizon Business.
